        About S2 STEEL:  The Classification of the S grade tool steel, is shock-resistant.  The tempering resistance of group S steels are enhanced by the addition of silicone, which also forms a microstructure to resist distortion in tempered conditions.

      S2 steels are much more hardened and shock resistant than CR-V steels, You will generally find S2 steel used in higher quality power bits.
